TV Writing Student
Sarah Lawrence College
In high school, I wrote several research papers on topics of my choosing, as well as shorter speeches and arguments for my extracurricular Speech and Debate activities. As part of a small team of students from my high school, I went to Washington D.C. and spent a week debating government and policy with fellow high school students from across the country and political spectrum. My involvement in politics includes writing, and I have been published by an online political news outlet, Progressive Spring. My literary education extends beyond the school year, as I spend several summers at Duke Young Writer’s Camp, where I took classes in subjects such as journalism, women’s literature/writing, screenwriting, and personal essay writing. As a student at Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, NY, I am currently studying screenwriting for television, and attended the Television Writing Intensive at Columbia University.
